Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how WordDojo (the "app") handles information when you use it. WordDojo is a Japanese vocabulary quiz game. We designed the app to work without collecting personal data.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. WordDojo does not require an account, and it does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.

Data Stored on Your Device

To remember your preferences (such as the sound toggle) between sessions, the app saves a small amount of data locally on your device using the operating system's standard preferences storage. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Audio and Text-to-Speech

WordDojo plays bundled sound effects and uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to read Japanese words aloud. Text-to-speech is handled entirely by your operating system; WordDojo does not send the words, your voice, or any audio to our servers.

Analytics, Advertising, and Third Parties

WordDojo does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party data-sharing integrations. The app does not make network requests to WordDojo-operated servers during normal gameplay.

Children's Privacy

WordDojo is suitable for general audiences, including children. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Permissions

WordDojo requests only the permissions needed to play audio through your device's speakers. It does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or location.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
